Dr. Goldsmith plays an active role in supporting a variety of local, national, and international organizations,
such as:
Smile Train: The Smile Train is an international children’s charity dedicated exclusively to helping thousands of children in the world who suffer from cleft lip and palate through free surgery and related treatment. Riley Hospital for Children offers one of the nation's largest and most comprehensive outpatient care facilities for children, the world's largest pediatric sleep disorders center and one of the nation's three largest autism treatment center.
Lupus Foundation: The Lupus Foundation of America (LFA) relies on your tax deductible contributions to fund vital research to find the causes and cure for lupus, to educate health care professionals about development in diagnosis and treatment, and to provide support to individuals affected by lupus.
Indiana Children's Wish Fund: Our mission is to put smiles on the faces of Indiana children who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness by making a dream come true. Our children have had to fight battles that children should not have to fight. These children go through miserable treatments that make them sick for days on end. They forget what childhood is all about. Granting their wish gives these brave children something to look forward to and helps build strength and hope for their futures.
Crohn's & Colitis Foundation: The Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to finding the cure for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Today, the Foundation funds cutting-edge studies at major medical institutions, nurtures investigators at the early stages of their careers, and finances underdeveloped areas of research.
Rupert's Kids: Rupert's Kids is a nonprofit organization that stems directly from the vision of Rupert Boneham. It is an organization that strives to both help and teach troubled youth in the community. Rupert’s Kids was founded due to his determination to make a difference in these young adults’ lives.
Give Back a Smile: Give Back a Smile was developed to address a need in the communities of the members of the AACD. Volunteer members of the AACD agree to restore the broken and damaged teeth of survivors of domestic violence. Survivors know that bruises and scars will fade but broken and missing teeth will not. Our generous dentists erase that memory by restoring the smiles at no cost to the survivor thereby restoring their lives.
Jewish Community Center: The JCC shall enrich the lives of the Jewish and general communities by developing and implementing programs for their recreational, educational, cultural, physical and social needs. The JCC shall stimulate and amplify the individual's sense of responsibility to the local community and to society.
