Another area that we feel is vitally important is eliminating disease especially gum disease in our patients. We stress this aspect in every situation. Consider building a house on a weak foundation. We do not wish to have our patients experience the loss of dental work they may have received due to this faulty foundation. Gum disease contains bacteria that travel throughout our bodies thru the bloodstream. Any tendency toward diabetes, heart disease or other systemic health conditions is made worse by this traveling infection.

Any recommended care is discussed confidentially and the reasons for the recommendations are clearly stated in order for there to be full understanding.
